Abstract: The article examines the business career of former Florida Jeb Bush during the 1980s and 1990s, focusing on the success and scrutiny associated with his risky deals and entrepreneurship. Particular attention is given to Bush's relationship with water pump manufacturer MWI Corporation which he marketed with his company Bush-El, co-owned with David Eller, that was convicted of submitting false claims to the U.S. Export-Import Bank.
