Abstract
- The article focuses on a study on the efficacy of glyceryl trinitrate (nitric oxide) in patients with acute stroke and high blood pressure (BP). Topics discussed include poor performance in activities of daily living (ADL) by continue antihypertensive medications, improving functional outcome by assigning glyceryl trinitrate, and association of increased risk for poor performance in ADL with allocation to continuing antihypertensive drugs.
