- Assesses the effect of anti-HIV drugs on the risk of discontinuing antiretroviral therapy as a result of severe hepatotoxicity. Comparison of incidence of progression to severe antiretroviral-related liver toxicity in patients pretreated and not pretreated; Alanine aminotransferase level; Histologic scores; Virologic screening; Risk factors for the development of severe hepatoxicity.
