This paper tackles a survey on woman's space working segregation theyare integrated in the global capitalism of flexible accumulation inGuadalajara's Metropolitan Area. Against the mainstream analysis thatrelies on the central positions of men living in global cities of developedcountries, the paper reflects on marginal positions embodied by womenin second or third world cities. In doing so, it exposes, besides globaldynamics, some particularities coming from the local context that representthe urban segregation of active women in Guadalajara's MetropolianArea.
