Abstract
- The authors discuss the advocacy of Senji Yamaguchi, survivor of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki, Japan, regarding the abolition of nuclear weapons and other Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)-free zone in the Middle East. Topics include the role of Yamaguchi and other survivors of the atomic bombings, known as Hibakusha, in disarmament by emphasizing the catastrophic humanitarian impacts of nuclear weapons, the Peace Boat Hibakusha Project, and the Horizon 2012 program.
