- The author comments on the status of manuscripts after submission to the journal "Nature Geoscience." The author mentions that in 2013, the periodical received greater than 2,000 submissions which decreased to 177 published papers. Moreover, they selected manuscripts which bring significant changes to the scientific understanding.
