TÜRKİYE'DE POPÜLER MÜZİK ARANJÖRLÜĞÜNÜN GÜNÜMÜZDEKİ DURUMU.

Nowadays, professional music production processes that being conducted in popular music industry, refer to a period which includes various details that one cannot overcome alone. Therefore music producion at recent years is being conducted with a wide proficiency network. The most important stakeholder of this network is arranger. The term arranging includes, fixing, conducting and controlling of context, style and all processes of a music production that finish with the completing the production. Because of that the arranger's role is so important. That can be said, arranging practises in Turkey between 1950 and 1980 period require various qualifications from musicians; being qualificied as a composer. Thereby being an arranger is very difficult credit that everybody couldn't gain it easily. However, especially with develop of MIDI in 1983 and then smoothing of importing technological advances into the Turkey, the arranging area in Turkey got into an important transformation. Therefore, an arranging practise rose in Turkey that carried mostly via computer and its options. In this paper, this new type of arranger defined as "Midi-ger". Also many interwievs have been made with pionner arrangers of Turkey to understand transformation of arranging practices in Turkey. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
