Abstract: The current paper presents the energy efficiency analysis of the Basic and Combined Thermic Treatment Processes. The calculation method of energy efficiency of Waste to Energy Technology is defined by the R 1 formula. This formula shall be applied according to the reference document on Best Available Techniques for waste incineration (2008/98/EC).
