Collaborative tuberculosis strategy for England.

The authors comment on the collaborative five year tuberculosis strategy launched by Public Health England and National Health Service (NHS) England. They say that the strategy is politically astute but should not deflect from the importance of guaranteeing that the future for tuberculosis is not one of continuously failing to learn from past mistakes. They also discuss the World Health Organization's End Tuberculosis strategy and the need to improve access to health and social care.
