Abstract
- The article examines how employees in the U.S. weigh perceptions of attributes of an ethical organization as well as offers strategies for improving organizational ethics. Topics include the use of data from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Also mentioned are the need to align the employee rewards and disciplinary system with expectations of ethical conduct as well as the need for healthcare leaders and managers to act as role models and to exhibit ethical behavior at all times.
