Abstract
- An interview with Fernando Flores, President of Chile's National Innovation Council for Competitiveness, is presented. Particular focus is given to his report "Surfing Towards the Future," which focuses on innovation in Chile. He also discusses a speech he gave in 1997 about the role of the Internet in business communications and emphasizes the importance of contingency in approaching innovation.
