Abstract: Describes the prevention of lung fibrosis in a rabbit model of bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis upon aerosol application of heparin or urokinase. Result of the computed tomography performed at end-inspiratory arrest under mechanical ventilation; Measurement of lung compliance; Reduction of the extent of the fibrotic changes due to the treatment.
