Application of Goal-oriented Teaching Methods in Laboratory Teaching of Pit and Fissure Sealant Technique.

Objective To research the application effect of the goal-oriented teaching methods in laboratory teaching of pit and fissure sealant technique. Methods 40 students of 68 students from Grade 2008 in Stomatology Faculty of KMU were randomly divided into 2 groups. One of the groups were taught by the goal-oriented teaching methods and other the group were taught by the traditional teaching methods. The performances of the two groups were compared. Results Students received the goal-oriented teaching methods were more efficient than the traditional one. Conclusion Goal-oriented teaching methods can inspire students' enthusiasm in studying and help improve teaching efficiency and quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
