Abstract

The article presents a study which aims to examines the relationship between repeated sprint ability (RSA), acute metabolic and mechanical parameters and blood metabolites in professional soccer players. The study includes 18 male players from a team of the First Division of the Spanish National League who performed RSA test with countermovement jump (CMJ) pre a post RSA. The results show a very high correlatuion between loss of speed in RSA and loss of CMJ height pre-post RSA session.
