Erkek ve Dişi Çakşır (Ferula eleaochytris) Kökü Tozunun Yumurtacı Tavuklarda Verim ve Yumurta Kalitesi Üzerine Etkisi.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of dietary male and female Ferula eleaochytris root powder on performance characteristics and egg quality of white laying hens. Treatments were allocated to 5 dietary groups in which 0 (control), 5 g and 10 g female Ferula eleaochytris powder, 5 g and 10 g male Ferula eleaochytris powder doses per kg commercial laying hen diet. In total, 80 white laying hens (Super Nick) 32 week old in which 16 animals in each group were used in study. Egg yield and feed intake were monitored weekly for 8 weeks and egg quality was monitored at the midst and the end of study. The results of the study showed that male and female Ferula eleaochytris powder had no effect on performance characteristics and egg quality in laying hens. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
