Abstract
- The article discusses the development of the clustered, regularly interspaced, short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)-Cas9 system for gene editing in various contexts. Also examined are whether a single guide RNA (sgRNA) can be engineered to integrate functional RNA modules, as well as such topics as long noncoding RNAs (lncRNA), the CRISPR-Display (CRISP-Disp) approach, and the nuclease-deficient mutant (dCas9).
