Perfil da contagem bacteriana total do leite de propriedades leiteiras nos municípios de Patos de Minas e Lagoa Grande no estado de Minas Gerais.

The objective of this study was to quantify the milk's total bacteria l count of twenty farms in the towns of Patos de Minas and Lagoa Grande, MG. It had been used 530 samples from farms, randomly chosen, with two TBC's collections per month. These were analyzed by flow cytometry. The result was expressed in number of bacterial counts multiplied by 10³ mL. The geometric avegare of all farm's review was 24,72 x 10³ CBT/mL. According to the daily production of the properties, it was observed that there is no correlation between the daily production and cow's average with the values of TBC during the year. TBC's average in the rainy season, from October to March, was higher than the rest of the year, but did not exceed the limit of 300,000 CFU/mL. This demonstrates that the milk produced in these properties is in accordance with Normative Instruction (NI) 62, showing that it is possible to have quality standards during all months of the year.
