Abstract

Reports that the single-stranded DNA induces ataxia telangiextasia mutant (ATM)/p53-dependent DNA damage and apoptotic signals. Single-stranded DNA's induced of apoptotic nuclease-mediated chromosomal DNA cleavage; Oligos induce up-regulation of p53 and activate ATM kinase; Preparation of cytoplasmic fraction; Measurement of reactive oxygen species production.
