Abstract

In this article the authors discuss the characteristics of virtual reality in stroke rehabilitation as a tool for occupational therapists. They state that virtual reality provides therapists an environment wherein they have better control of the setting, furnishes service offers of hospitals, and a cost-effective assessment and intervention. However, they argue that therapists must collaborate with engineering and game developers to develop advancement in the rehabilitation programmes.
