Abstract
- The article talks about sustainable energy and hydrogen production by solar water splitting techniques focusing on the production of an alternative energy resource and increasing demands for energy. Topics include Honda-Fujishima effect, application of photocatalysis for conversion of solar energy, and use of metal oxynitrides. Also discussed are strategies for designing a tantalum based photocatalyst dealing with electronic structure, band-gap energy, and prevention of photocorrosion.
