Co-creation of individual-based models by practitioners and modellers to inform environmental decision-making.

The article discusses the importance of effective environmental decision-making in evidence-based management and policy to keep balance nature conservation, natural resource management and human socio-economic activities. Topics discussed include need of need for predictive tools in such decision making, use of biological properties and explanatory factors for ecological predictions, and use of individual-based models (IBMs) in environmental decision-making procedure.
