Repositorio de objetos de aprendizaje: importancia de su uso en la Universidad de Oriente.

The growing production of digital educational materials has encouraged the emergence in recent years of repositories that concentrate valuable resources for teachers, students and educational institutions in general, well as the importance of using these repositories in teaching and learning. At present projects Learning Object Repositories (ROA) has been increasing, which is why this paper addresses the issue of ROA and its use in the University of the East, for its development is a review of the concepts basic Learning Objects, since no one could speak of the ROA without mentioning these object types and then state why the use of this at the University of the East and the strategy for its implementation.
