CROSSOVERS BETWEEN EPIGENESIS AND EPIGENETICS. A MULTICENTER APPROACH TO THE HISTORY OF EPIGENETICS (1901-1975).

The article focuses on the history of epigenetics through a multicenter approach. Topics discussed include the similarities between genetics and embryology during the early 20th century; American embryologist and geneticist Thomas Hunt Morgan's works on the chromosome theory of heredity; and research on the role of gene expression in embryonic development and cell differentiation.
