Abstract

With the aim of evaluating the action of Trichoderma harzianum as a biomass increaser microorganism, an A-34 strain of an antagonist fungi was used with 2.0 kg/ha; 3.5 kg/ha y 5.0 kg/ha of bioactive mixture with an absolute control in an experiment using pots with a random blocks design distribution. The investigation was brought about in a shaded area of the Soil Experimental Station of Camagüey Province, from January to May, 2004, using Perla Cuba variety of rice. Five via foliar applications with a concentration of 2.6 x 109 spores/mL were carried out every twelve days. An increasing of biomass when applying the A-34 strain was achieved. There was not statistical signification among the studied doses, but with the absolute control, even when 5.0 kg/ha dose showed the greatest biomass values. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
