Abstract
- The article discusses the expansion efforts of Chicago, Illinois, hedge-fund firm Citadel LLC under the leadership of Citadel founder Kenneth Griffin. According to the article, Citadel's assets under management increased to $26 billion as of the beginning of August 2015, almost seven years after the firm collapsed during the financial crisis of the early 21st century. The article discusses the possibility that Citadel would go public in 2016 in addition to Griffin's professional background and divorce from former hedge fund manager Anne Dias.
