Abstract
- The article discusses the investigation into the launch failure of the Falcon 9/CRS-7 resupply rocket of the SpaceX company on June 28, 2015. U.S. Air Force spokesman Chris Calkins takes note of the decision to self-destruct after detection of overpressurization at first-stage while 45th Operations Group deputy commander Thomas Ste. Marie addresses public safety for launch missions. Flight termination over the ocean and outside of protected areas is also discussed.
