Abstract
- The article discusses the decision of the U.S. Air Force to adopt the Automatic Takeoff and Landing System (ATLS) technology for its General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper drones. Topics include a Description of the ATLS technology, the benefits offered by ATLS technology to drone pilots, and an overview of the 2015 funding request document prepared by the Air Force for the adoption of ATLS technology.
