Abstract
- The article reports that the U.S. Air Force will conduct operational assessment on Lockheed Martin's Space-Based Infrared System (Sbirs) infrared scanner and starer in November 2015. It presents views of Lockheed's vice president Jeff Smith on the use of data from Sbirs starter by the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. Air Force Space Command chief John Hyten offers information on establishment of a distribution hub for satellite infrared data.
