Abstract
- The article discusses the U.S. Air Force's contract with a joint venture between the companies Raytheon and General Dynamics. Statistical information related to savings for range operations is offered. Comments from Colonel Janet Grondin of the Space and Missile Systems Center and Colonel Keith Balts of Vandenberg Air Force Base are included. The article informs that the Air Force plans to introduce spaceflight launch systems onto several ranges including the Falcon 9 v1.1 and the Falcon Heavy.
