Abstract
- The article discusses a study related to the importance of disordered interdomain region of Gins for functional tetramer formation in Thermoplasma acidophilum to stimulate Multichip modules MCM helicase. Topics discussed include activation of the eukaryotic MCM by forming the CMG complex with Cdc45 and Gins, stimulation in the DNA-binding, ATPase, and helicase activities of TaMCM by interaction of TaGins51 protein with the MCM and necessity of MCM activation in formation of the Gins51 tetramer.
