Abstract
- The author discusses the potential of curcumin analogues and curcumin as alternative medicine in rheumatology. Topics include the use of curcumin-like diarypentanoid analog BDMC33 to overcome curcumin's poor pharmacokinetic properties, the benefits of curcumin in human rheumatoid arthritis, and the structural modifications made by curcumin analogs on curcumin's structural motif.
