Continuity or discontinuity in the self-regulation of the Belgian and Dutch medical professions.

This paper looks at the recent developments in the field of medical quality assurance in Belgium and the Netherlands. It takes the viewpoint that there is a strong relationship between regulation and quality assurance on the one hand and the health care environment on the other hand.
