Estratégia saúde da família: riscos ocupacionais dos auxiliares e técnicos de enfermagem.

Healthcare professionals are exposed to numerous occupational hazards arising from conditions inherent to the environment and the labor process. The objective of this study is identify occupational hazards and health hazards in the work of technicians and nursing assistants of the Family Health Strategy environment. Quantitative research among nursing assistants and technicians of 13 units Family Health Strategy. Data were col lected through interviews and structured, non-participant observation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Biological, physical, chemical, ergonomic, psychosocial, risks were identified. The personal protective equipment were insufficient and its irregular use. Observed the need for improvements in the physical work environment, especially the facilities and measures of collective biosecurity.
