MYD88 mutation analysis of a rare composite chronic lymphocyte leukemia and lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma by flow cytometry cell sorting.

The article presents a case study of a 62-year-old woman with bilateral lower extremity sensory neuropathy and mild progressive fatigue. Electromyography of the patient revealed a mild axonal polyneuropathy, and complete blood count inferred leukocytosis. Immunohistochemistry stains and in situ hybridization revealed presence of CD5/dim CD20/variable CD23/dim kappa protein, and CD5â/CD19+ monoclonal B cells were observed in flow cytometry analysis and finally the MYD88 mutation was found.
