- Relates the experiences of a group of archaeologists in searching for the Chicone Indian town in Maryland. Early documents indicating that the town was in between Chicone Creek and Marshyhope Creek; Probable site of the town determined through aerial photography; Sizes and shapes of soil marks which help identify archaeological sites.
