Abstract

A novel, efficient and robust method for silver-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (AgAAC) reactions in H 2 O/Ethylene glycol (EG) at room temperature has been developed. The protocol addresses silver dicyanamide/DIPEA as a highly effective catalyst system for the regioselective formation of 1,4-disubstituted-1,2,3 triazoles under mild conditions.
