Self-organization: Two's company, three's a crowd.

The article discusses research on the physical rules governing self-organization of biopolymers in cells observed using real-time tracking of self-propelled biomolecules. The study recorded the movement of individual actin filaments during cell division and analyzed the probability distribution for the incident angle made between colliding filaments, deviation between incoming and outgoing angles, probability of binary filament collisions, and ordered phase transition at filament densities.
