Abstract
- An essay discusses thesis of philosopher Richard Bernstein in his book "Beyond Objectivism and Relativism: Science, Hermeneutics and Praxis" published in 1983 is presented. His thesis reflects that the dispute between objectivism and relativism is misguided. Topics discussed includes Cartesian Anxiety, classical American pragmatism and traditional approaches to the problems of objectivity.
