Addressing Patients' Psychic Pain.

Several case of psychic patients are presented. One of the cases is of a 36-year-old woman, who had been in agony since the death of her 18-year-old daughter from acute leukemia. Another case of a 40-year-old woman who had been variously diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder, anorexia nervosa, binge-eating/purging type, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and major depressive disorder with psychotic features.
