- The article focuses on why U.S. President Barack Obama needs the help of Senador John McCain to close the controversial military detention facility Guantánamo in Cuba. Toipcs discussed include why Senator McCain is the only lawmaker with enough clout to get enough votes for Obama from the Congress, why the current administration has the urgency to close the facility, and the concerns in closing the facility and moving detainees to the U.S.
