Abstract

The article reports that aerospace company Boeing is facing delay for the maiden flight of its first fully outfitted KC-46 tanker due to the use of subpar fuel as a substitute an integrated fuel system. It mentions that a mislabeled solution was mistakenly inserted into the aircraft's fuel system during ground vibration testing and the it will pass through the crucial flutter-test phase. It also mentions that Scott Fancher, executive of Boeing, will look out the problem.
