Abstract

Within systems of human capital management, the importance of relying on a leadership model that provides the capabilities to facilitate human processes and the integration of work teams is emphasized. In this context, it can be seen that Mexican organizations apply models of foreign leadership which do not respond fully to the characteristics and culture of Mexico, it can also be seen that a high percentage of these organizations apply the authoritarian model (Stakeholder) for the performance of its functions and activities within the production process. Moreover, there hasn't as yet been developed a profile of the Mexican leader that combines interest in the task, and the individual (Multi stakeholder) seeking increased productivity and individual wellbeing. This is relevant, since the rate of growth over the last twelve years has stagnated at around 2% of GDP. Under these circumstances, the adoption Empathetic Leadership by Mexican the adaption of the empathetic leadership model by Mexican organizations is proposed the profile of the leader, which has the advantage of the leader taking into account both the needs of the workers in general, and request made by the organizations' directors.
