Abstract

The article discusses the archives of the papers of Swiss chemist Albert Hoffman located at the Bern, Switzerland, Institute of Medical History and curated by Swiss dairy farmer Beat Bäche. According to the article, Hoffman discovered the drug LSD in 1943 while working for the firm Sandoz AG, now a part of the Basel, Switzerland, company Novartis AG. The article states that Hoffman friend Roger Liggenstorfer and his plans for a public event in 2018 commemorating Hoffman's first LSD experiment.
