Abstract

The article presents a study of using airborne hyperspectral remote sensing data in mineral resource prospecting in China's Gansu and Qinghai Regions. Alteration minerals and surface mineralization are checked through field verification which is noted to confirm prospecting indicators. Airborne hyperspectral data is found to have an accurate and fast identification of mineralized alteration zones in the regions.
