On the relationship between strategic cultures and support for European defence: A comment on Irondelle, Mérand and Foucault.

The authors reflect on the article "Public Support for European Defence: Does Strategic Culture Matter?" by Bastien Irondelle, Frédéric Mérand, and Martial Foucault which appears in a 2015 issue of the journal. The European Union's (EU's) borders are addressed in relation to EU integration and the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy and Common Security and Defence Policy. Russia's intervention in Ukraine is assessed, along with the International Monetary Fund and EU power.
