Abstract
- The article focuses on cultural anthropology in regards to global African diaspora. It discusses impact of journey to Cameroon in Central Africa that inspire author to travel around and experience different cultures such as the Bamum culture, Gnawa culture, maroons from Reunion Island in Indian Ocean and Afro-Ecuadorian culture. It talks about the anthropological novels of writers Zora Neale Hurston, Katherine Dunham, and Melville Herskovits.
