Abstract
- The article presents a study on morphology and antipredator behavior in larval Orgyia Leucostigma of the order Lepidoptera. Topics include antipredator defense mechanisms in terrestrial insects like hairs, spines, and thick sclerotized cuticles; changes in caterpillar antipredator behaviors depending on vulnerability; and effect of hair clipping or clipping control on the behavioral defenses of the animal.
