Studies the origin, properties, and liver repopulating capacity of murine oval cells. Induction of the oval cell proliferation in adult mouse liver by 3,5-diethoxycarbonyl-1,4-dihydrocolidine; Development of a method for the isolation of the oval cells; Suggestion that hepatic oval cells do not originate in bone marrow but in the liver itself; Mouse strains and animal husbandry.
