Abstract
- Creativity and innovation has been recognized as one of important factors in today's product development. 8 partners from 6 countries take part in "Teaching Creativity in Engineering"- TECRINO - Project No. 538710-LLP-1-2013-1-CY-LEONARDO-LMP. Within project e-learning materials is developed covering teaching creativity and innovation in engineering. Divided into 6 chapters it covers different creativity and innovation aspects, from recognition of creative products and creative persons to presentation of the most popular methods for stimulating creativity. Theory and practice of TRIZ method are presented. Impact of the environment on the creativity is underlined and some software tools to aid the creative process, from mind mapping to "creative" games are presented. Research on students self assessment about different soft skills shows that they find their level of creativity fails behind its importance for future employment. First face-to-face workshops have been executed and first experience with on line e-learning has been experienced. Results are promising. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
