Abstract
- This article aims for a better understanding of the contexts of children's food during school time. Assuming that the foodscapes (visual and physical elements such as taste, texture, and smell), and also social contexts influence the choice of food, a comparative analysis of food in school spaces (inside and outside the school), was performed considering visual and sensory/bodily stimuli and its appropriation by children. Results shown strong contrasts that can lead the children to prefer food available outside the school. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
